Winemaking Bottle Washers, Rinsers and Drainers

At the Grape and Granary, we find that bottling is the most tedious part of the winemaking process. We have found a few shortcuts that really make sanitizing and cleaning bottles easy. Our first recommendation is to use a bottle vinator filled with a non-rinse sanitizer. We like to use the Iodophor santizer in our Vinator Bowl as it does not need to be rinsed. The second tip is to use a bottle draining tree. Once the bottles have been sanitized, you can put them on a draining tree and allow the sanitizer to drain out and evaporate. If you used the Iodophor sanitizer, you don't need to rinse the bottles. If you use a different sanitizer that needs rinsed, we recommend a good bottle rinser such as The Blast bottle rinser.

If you want to really make it easy, go with the Monster Cleaner and Bottle Tower. The cleaning bowl will mount on the top of the tower keeping everything together in on unit.
