Airlocks

The Grape and Granary offers (2) styles of airlocks. The traditional 'S' shape airlock and the cylinder shaped airlock. We have found that they each have their own advantages. The 'S' shape or twin bubble airlock shows the bubbling action a little more so it is easier to judge the rate of fermentation in the primary. The down side is they are very difficult to clean.

The cylinder shaped or econolock airlock is much easier to clean. There is an airlock brush that is specifically designed to clean them. The cylinder shaped airlock is a litte more difficult to see the fermentation action.
