An excellent medium-full bodied German wheat beer, great for spring and summer. This beer produces the classic banana, clove and bubble gum aroma and flavor. The finish is slightly tart.
The Kit includes malt syrup, steeping grains, steeping sock, pellet hops, the Fermentis WB-06 yeast, priming sugar, and instructions. If you desire to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #3068 or #3056 which produce a more intense spice/fruit flavor than dry yeast.
It require a 35-45 minute boil. The kit makes 5 US gallons. This recipe won best of show in the all draft beer competition in Cincinnati, Ohio. Statistics are Est OG 1.049, Est SRM 4, IBU'S 15. Potential Alcohol 4.9 ABV.
