This a true German Vienna style beer with a moderate amount of toasted vienna malt and a restrained spicy aroma from Saaz and Hallertau hops. It sports a reddish copper color and low bitterness. A very food friendy beer style. Commercial examples are Great Lakes Elliot Ness, and Negra Modelo.
The kit It includes malt syrup, and dry malt, steeping grains, steeping socks, pellet hops, safale s-04 dry yeast, primming sugar, Whirlfloc tablets, and instructions. It requires a 45 minute boil and makes 5 US gallons. If you desire to use liquid yest we recommend Wyeast #2112 or #2124. Anticipated SG 1.056. SRM 15, IBU 24, and 5.6 ABV.

* Vienna Lager is best fermented at lager temperatures between 48'F- 55'F. but will do well when fermented at ale temps too.
