Color is 25 degrees Lovibond. Victory malt is processed in such a way that it imparts a warm, biscuity, nutty flavor similar to baking bread to beer. It also adds a deep gold to brown color. For Nutbrown ales, try adding 10-15% of grist (one pound in extract batches). For dark amber and dark beers, try 2-5% of total grist. For porters, try 5-10% of grist.
