Tincture of iodine. 1 oz bottle. For testing mash conversion: Add 1 or 2 drops to mash sample. If color stays red, conversion is complete. If sample turns black, not all starch as been converted to sugar.

Be sure to remove any bits of grain husk prior to conducting test.
