Our Pumpkin Spiced ale kit uses five different pumpkin pie spices that evoke the aromas and flavors of fall. Ginger, All Spice, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove are used to bring out the pumpkin pie flavors. The grain bill includes caramel and toasted malts. A wonderful fall beer for those cool evenings.
The kit includes malt syrup and dry malt, steeping grains, steeping sock, Fuggle hop pellets, safale s-04 dry yeast, priming sugar, Whirlfloc tablet, and instructions. It requires a 45 minute boil and makes 5 US gallons. If you prefer to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #1272. Anticipated SG 1.061, SRM 17, IBU 21, and ABV 6.1.
