Grape and Granary's Pumpkin Spiced ale recipe (All Grain version). This recipe utilizes five different spices that evoke the aroma's and flavors of fall. We use Ginger, All Spice, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove to bring out the pumpkin pie flavors. The grain bill includes pale ale malt, caramel and toasted malts and just a touch of chocolate malt. A wonderful fall beer for those cool fall evenings. Makes 5 US gallons. SG is 1.060, color is about 17 srm and bitterness is a low 21 ibu's.
