Our Munich style Helles beer produces a medium bodied golden colored beer with a malty-toasted aroma and malty flavor. It is a style that is consumed at Oktoberfest in Germany.
This beer kit includes malt syrup, dry malt, steeping grains, steeping sock, pellet hops (Spalter), dry yeast, priming sugar, Whirlfloc tablet, and instructions. This kit requires a 35-45 minute boil. Makes 5 US gallons. If you prefer to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #2124 or #2112. Statistics are Est OG 1.046, Est. SRM 5, Est IBU'S 22. Potential Alcohol 4.6 ABV.
