Description
Our German Kolsch style ale recipe is a medium bodied light colored German ale with a nice degree of German noble hops(Hallertau). It has a crisp dry finish and is similar to Eisenbahn Dourada, Harpoon summer beer and Goose Island Summertime ale.
The kit includes pale malt syrup, dry malt extract, pellet hops (Perle and Hallertau), dry yeast, priming sugar, Whirlfloc tablet, and instructions. It requires a 35-45 minute boil. Makes 5 Gallons. If you prefer to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #2565 or #1007 Ale. Statistics are Est OG 1.048, Est SRM 5, Est IBU'S 26. Potential Alochol 4.8 ABV.
