The Grape and Granary sells beer line designed for carbonating and dispensing beer. The 5/16" ID gas line is used for pushing the co2 gas (or nitrogen) into the beer. One side of the line is attached to the beer regulator and the other is attached to the Gas Disconnect. The 3/16" ID beer line is attached from the Liquid Out disconnect and the other side attaches to the picnic faucet or the back end of the beer shank (for those using a beer faucet) or beer tower. The 1/4" ID beer line is used by homebrewers to carbonate the beer. A short piece of 1/4" ID beer line (usually 1.5 feet) is cut and one end attaches to the gas-in nipple inside the soda keg. The other end is attached to a diffusion stone and floats freely inside the liquid beer. Pushing gas in to the stone will carbonate the beer almost instantly and the stone can be left inside the keg until the keg is empty.
The beer line sold by Grape and Granary is designed for beer dispensing. It has a thick wall and won't crimp when running through fridges or through ducts. It has a very smooth bore and insures that the beer won't foam as it travels through the tubing.
