Our Citra IPA recipe is an American version of an English IPA. Brewed exclusively with the 'Citra' hop that so many affectionatos have come to love. This IPA employs 5 hop additions over the 90 minute boil. The kit includes 11.5 lbs of base malt, 1.5 lbs of crystal malt and .25 lbs of Victory malt. Over three ounces of bittering, flavor and aroma hops (all Citra) are used. One of our favorite recipes!
The kit includes grains, hops, priming sugar, whirlfloc tablet, and dry yeast. If you prefer a liquid yeast, we recommend Wyeast #1272, Wyeast #1056 or Whitelabs WLP001. Recipe statistics are O.G. 1.065, Color is 13 and IBU's are 71.
