Our American Pale recipe is full flavored from the use of crystal malt, pale malt and toasted malt with a touch of chocolate. American hops (cascade) provide the hop flavor and aroma. This beer is similar to Anchor Liberty, Great Lakes Burning River and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
The kit includes malt syrup, dry malt, steeping grains, steeping sock, pellet hops (Northern Brewer and Cascade), dry yeast, priming sugar Irish moss (Whirlfloc tablet) and instructions. It requires a 35-45 minute boil. If you prefer to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #1056 or #1028
