Homebrewing Honey
Honey can be added to almost any homebrew recipe to increase the alcohol content, dry out the finish and add complexity. The more flavorful the honey, the more impact it will have on the flavor of your beer. Honey such as Orange Blossom will have a greater impact on the flavor of your beer compared to Clover Honey which will have a much more neutral impact. Honey does very well in such beer styles as Belgian golden ales, Holiday spiced beers and even light 'lager' style beers. Try adding a pound or two per 5 gallon batch of beer in your next brew. You may be pleasantly suprised at the result!
