If you want to add fruit flavors to your beer or wine, but don’t want to deal with the mess that homebrewing fruit puree can cause by upsetting sugar levels in your wort or restarting fermentation, flavor extracts are a great way to go. Some flavors, such as graham cracker and peanut butter are extremely hard to add to beer or wine without leaving an oil slick in the beer and dosing is always a question. You If you use natural fruit, you will need to add potassium sorbate to make sure it doesn't ferment further.
Using our natural extracts allows you to control the dosing to your taste. Add a small amount and taste the beer or wine and see how you like it. If more is needed, keep adding the flavoring in small increments until you get the desired flavor. This is best done just prior to bottling or kegging.
