Grape and Granary Advanced Hefe Weissen (wheat beer) recipe. This all-grain recipe consists of 48% German wheat malt, 48% German Pilsner malt and 2% German Munich malt. There is 9.8 total pounds of grain, low in bittering hops and pale gold in color. An excellent refreshing summer beer style. Recipe assumes a 70% mash efficiency. OG 1.053, IBU 16.4 and SRM 3.5
Kit includes grains, hops, priming sugar, irish moss, and dry yeast. If you prefer a liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #3056 or #3068 or #3638.
