Dunkelweissen: All Grain

Grape and Granary Advanced All-grain Dunkelweizen beer kit. An old fashioned Bavarian dark wheat beer. This Dunkel has over 50% wheat malt and 33% dark German Munich malt. It also has a bit of Pilsner, carafa and melanoidin in the recipe. The result is a moderately dark, spicy, fruity, malty, refreshing wheat based ale.

Vital stats are OG- 1.054, expected color is about 17 SRM and IBU's are about 18. Please specify whole or crush when ordering. We recommend Wyeast #3056 or #3068 for authenticity. Similar to Ayinger Ur-Weisse and Franziskaner Dunkel Hefe-Weisse. Includes fermentis brand WB-06 wheat beer yeast.
