Home Distilling Books

As with any home wine, beer or distilling endeavor, knowledge is the key. Grape and Granary stocks several books of the process of home distilling. The book 'The Joy of Home Distilling' is a very practical book for home distillers and we highly recommend it. It contains step-by-step instructions for making many different types of spirits. From vodka to rum, you will learn the process of making the wash through the process of distilling and aging.

If you prefer to learn more of the science and theory behind distilling, we recommend the book 'The Compleat Distiller'. It is not so much of a hands-on how-to book but delves deeper into the why.
