Citra IPA- G & G

Our Citra IPA recipe is an American version of an English IPA. Brewed exclusively with the 'Citra' hop that so many affectionatos have come to love. This IPA employs 5 hop additions over the 45 minute boil. The kit includes 7 lbs of malt extract, 2 lbs steeping grains, over three ounces of bittering, flavor and aroma hops (all Citra). One of our favorite recipes!

The kit includes malt syrup, dry malt extract, steeping grains, steeping socks, dry yeast, pellet hops (all Citra) whirlfloc tablet and instructions. If you prefer to use a liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #1056 or #1272. It requires a 35-45 minute boil. Kit makes 5 US gallons. Statistics are Est OG 1.064, Est SRM 16, Est IBU'S 64. Potential Alcohol 6.4 ABV.
