Our American Blonde Ale recipe has a moderate sweet, malty, toasty flavor coming from Pilser, biscuit, aromatic, and honey malts. Cascade hops balances the malty sweetness and provides a bit of citris flavor and aroma. An excellent summer quaffing ale! The kit uses 6.6 lbs malt syrup, steeping grains, steeping sock, pellet hops, priming sugar, Safale s-04 dry yeast, Whirlfloc Tablet, and instructions. It requires a 45 minute boil and makes 5 US gallons. If you prefer to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #1272. Anticipated SG 1.052, SRM 7, IBU 28, and 5.2% ABV.
