Belgian Golden Strong- G & G

Grape and Granary's Belgian Golden Strong Ale recipe. This beer is similar to Duvel, Russian River Damnation, Hapkin, Lucifer, Brigand, Delirium Tremens, Great Divide Hades and Avery Salvation.

The recipe consists of almost 10 lbs of fermentables including pilsner malt syrup and sugar. Fuggle hops help balance the generous malt bill. Safbrew S-33 helps to bring out the belgian complexity. It require a 35-45 minute boil. Makes 5 US Gallons. For Authenticity, we highly recommend Wyeast #3522 Belgian Ardennes Ale. Statistics are Est OG 1.074, Est SRM 5, Est IBU'S 32. Potential Alcohol 7.4 ABV.
