Our Mosaic Pale Ale is a medium bodied pale ale using crystal malt, pale ale malt and a touch of chocolate balanced by lots of American Mosaic hops for bitterness, flavor and aroma. The Mosaic hop can be described as a complexity of flavors which provide a "powerful combination punch of pine and fruits".
The kit includes malt syrup, dry malt, steeping grains, steeping socks, pellet hops (all Mosaic), dry yeast, priming sugar, Whirlfloc tablet, and instructions. It requires a 35-45 minute boil. Makes 5 US gallons. If you prefer to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #1056 or #1028 Ale. Statistics are Est OG 1.053, Est SRM 9, Est IBU'S 40. Potential Alcohol 5.3 ABV.
