Slow Fermintation

I have made many batches of wine using kits and fresh fruit (mostly fresh fruit), and have never experienced this situation.
I am making a batch of fresh cranberry wine, when I added my yeast, it did not start to ferment until 4 days later. When it did start to ferment, the fermintation began so rapidly that it started oozing over the 6 gal. bucket. Everything looks and smells as it should at this point, however, I need to see if anyone knows what may have happened and if I need to do anything different to this batch.
Just to know...the temp. has nothing to do with this situration, as it is where it needs to be.

This happens periodically. Nothing to worry about. Just clean up the mess and continue on with the process.
