Add'l malt extract syrup: None
Add'l dry malt extract: 1 lb Laaglander Light Dry Malt
Add'l adjuncts: 1 lb Brewers Rice Syrup
Add'l bittering/flavor hops: 1 oz cascade or tettnang
Water salts: None * The above ingredients should be boiled together in a couple of gallons of good tasting dechlorinated water for 20-30 minutes Finishing Hops: 1/4 oz cascade hops or tettnang
*Add finishing/aroma hops 2-5 minutes before end of boil
*Cool wort in the boiling kettle to 120-130 deg F..Pour into fermenter and top up to 5 gallons with cold dechlorinated water. Pitch yeast when wort temp is at or below 75 deg F..
Yeast strain: 10 g of high quality dry ale yeast or Wyeast#1056 or Wyeast #1084
Fermentation temp: 55-70 deg f
Primary fermentation time: 3-5 days
Secondary fermentation time: 5-7 DAYS
Priming: 7/8 cup corn sugar or 1 cup cups dry malt extract |
